Writing Music #1

Art inspires art.  Music and writing are art.  Thus, music inspires writing.  When I write -- trying to make words sing -- I let music work in my subconscious.  This is the first of a series of posts on musicians who can help your written words flow.  Each post will include a couple long videos.

I must start with Yann Tiersen, a French composer.  His music has long been my writing mainstay.  It is magical and genius.  If you've seen the movie Amélie, you know what I'm talking about.  He wrote the soundtrack.  Are you looking for inspiration to write something beautiful?  Boom:
